Lizzo has all the time been applauded for celebrating her curves, and, based on Page Six, she’s spreading the like to all of us with the launch of recent shapewear line, Yitty.
Backed by Kate Hudson’s model Fabletics, Yitty is a “no-shame, smile-inducing shapewear line designed for all body types,” and we are able to store sizes starting from XS to 6XL beginning April 12. Hitting its web site first are three collections: the light-weight and ethereal Nearly Naked assortment, the ultra-smoothing and contouring Mesh Me assortment and the loungewear-focused Major Label assortment.
“Instead of thinking about size in this linear way, we’re thinking about it on a spectrum where everyone is included,” the Good as Hell singer says per a launch. “Everyone’s size is just their size. It’s not high, it’s not low. It’s not big, it’s not small. It’s just your size…I felt that I was constantly being told through T.V. and magazines that my body wasn’t good enough. And, in order to be considered ‘acceptable’ I had to inflict some sort of pain upon it to fit into an archetype of beauty. Because of this, I’ve been wearing shapewear for a long time, maybe since I was in fifth or sixth grade.”
Answering her prayers for inclusive shapewear, Lizzo set out on the journey to create a model that comfortably suited all physique sorts with out the trouble or the discomfort. We can’t await Yitty’s launch and to lastly store shapewear that’s made to reinforce our our bodies, not change them.
